while mommy is ohio, boden got to spend the day with auntie liz. boy, did they have fun! they ate lots of toast, played with macy the dog, rode in auntie liz's blue car (you don't even know how big of a deal that is), went to the zoo (monkeys! lions! bears!), ate chicken and ice cream, shopped at barnes and nobles, road on the merry-go-round, visited ammy at the library, saw uncle mike on the hi-lo at the celery farm, took a nap on a race car sleeping bag, played with sadie the dog, drove the lawn mower, played with rocks, and a whole lot more. below are some pictures of the day...

i'm wondering after seeing the last picture if that is where he got the horses from when you asked him what he saw that day. we were just stuck on animals at the zoo.
oh yeah, i forgot about that, he probably was thinking of the carousel because we did talk about all the horsies.
sorry i didn't get better pics, it was hard as he wouldn't let me get far enough away from him to really take a good photo. and, i should have got some shots of him here at our house, but i didn't think of it.
he is just growing so attached to his auntie liz :) eric sent me a pic of how he was all cuddling with you last night at the restaurant. :)
yeah, i gotta see that pic! he was just so sleepy, i thought maybe he was going to completely zonk out. but he was definitely awake when we went for ice cream! too funny - i don't know if eric told you this, after eric and boden finished their ice cream boden came over to sit by me. we thought it was so nice that he wanted to sit by his auntie liz. then we realized what his plan was...i had ice cream left. he was eyeing papa's and uncle mike's ice cream too. :)
