Family pictures

In the last couple weeks to a month, Heidi has started drawing pictures of our family. This one is a first. She just brought a picture over to me and says - "Look Mommy! I drew a picture of me in your tummy!!!" I guess the swirly things are my earrings, not my hair. Heidi has really been wanting to have me wear earrings lately.

Boden has a calendar of activities from school to complete most days of march for march is reading month. Today's reading activity was to read and make a recipe. Cooking experiences with Boden and mom in the kitchen have about a 50/50 success rate in the past. Plus, Boden is picky about his food. ;). Yesterday we looked at some options of things to make, took a deep breathe today and did it. Oatmeal Banana Muffins were a success! Making it went well and both kids had seconds!

my funny valentines

God gave me the desire, the strength, the joy - to love on my sweet little family He has so graciously blessed me with this valentines day. I Praise Him for this.

Down side? Boden couldn't understand why I didn't plan anything like this for Presidents' Day ;) ahhh, if only he had a parent who was into history stuff..... There is always next year?
