Beethoven

First Tooth!

Boden lost his first tooth! He literally lost it, so he wrote a note
to the tooth fairy explaining his situation. It has been fun to watch
Boden try and rectify that the tooth fairy is not real, but yet we are
pretending that it is real. He is definitely over thinking the whole
thing.

Cold sand

We had beach night yesterday. It was chilly and windy. Boden really
enjoyed stomping around in the waves and getting sprayed will in the
pier. Even though Heidi is typically hot, she chose last night to be
cold, so she spent most of the time in the car.

Pink

Recently Heidi and I went to a musical at the Grand Rapids Civic
Theater together. It was called "Pinkalicious" and based on the book
where Pinkalicious turns pink from having too many pink cupcakes.

The entire even was fun. Heidi was able to ride in the front seat of
the truck, pick where we ate (Red Robin because of the big duck
there), and got ice cream at Culver's. The show was by far the
highlight. Both Heidi and I really enjoyed the story and the music.
Ever since Heidi has been constantly talking about wanting to go see
it again (or another show). I think she might be hooked on the
theater...

To top it off, I bought the sound track to the musical the next
morning. I debated if it was worth it. Little did I know how much
play time the music was going to get over the next few weeks (Heidi is
listening to it right now). We have to be down to pennies per
"listen".

Brag

I have to brag a little. Tonight Boden, in a moment of indiscretion,
shared a little story from school. His young fives teacher had lost
her voice today, so she asked Boden to read the story to the entire
class today!
