boden did the pine wood derby at church this past week.  we had a lot of fun!

boden can ride a two wheeler!!!

boden surprised us the other day by deciding it was time to learn to ride without training wheels.  it took several laps around the little circle and he is now independent!

Last Day of Swim Lessons

Boden had his last day of swimming lessons.  He has learned a ton!

In the last couple weeks to a month, Heidi has started drawing pictures of our family. This one is a first. She just brought a picture over to me and says - "Look Mommy! I drew a picture of me in your tummy!!!" I guess the swirly things are my earrings, not my hair. Heidi has really been wanting to have me wear earrings lately.

Boden has a calendar of activities from school to complete most days of march for march is reading month. Today's reading activity was to read and make a recipe. Cooking experiences with Boden and mom in the kitchen have about a 50/50 success rate in the past. Plus, Boden is picky about his food. ;). Yesterday we looked at some options of things to make, took a deep breathe today and did it. Oatmeal Banana Muffins were a success! Making it went well and both kids had seconds!

God gave me the desire, the strength, the joy - to love on my sweet little family He has so graciously blessed me with this valentines day. I Praise Him for this.

Down side? Boden couldn't understand why I didn't plan anything like this for Presidents' Day ;) ahhh, if only he had a parent who was into history stuff..... There is always next year?
